Turning around, Zoe looked at him quietly. After a brief moment, she said in a resigned tone, “Don’t bother! Noah has given up on his right to appeal! You said we’ll get divorced after our baby is born. All I want is Yanni. I don’t need anything else.” 

The wind howled in the night. 

She used to be in love with him madly, but none of the love remained now. She was all drained. 

Mason spoke again, “Please forgive me, Zoe. I can’t just give up on our marriage. It’s my fault for being so harsh that day. I know Layla was the one who picked up the call from…” 

However, she smiled miserably and cut him off. “Do you think an explanation is going to save our marriage, Mason?”

apologizing over and over again in a husky voice. He begged her to give him one more chance.

Luke, who was in the driver’s seat, didn’t even dare to look at them. 

Then, Mason held Zoe tight in his arms and ordered Luke to start driving. That was when Luke stepped on the pedal and drove back to

All the lights in the manor were lit and it looked as bright as it did in daylight. 

Luke parked the car and got out of it to give them some space. It was dark in the car and Mason loosened his grip, but he didn’t release her. 

Lowering his head, he looked at her and said affectionately, “Our

Zoe started shedding tears unexpectedly.

Opening the car door, he carried her out of the car and went upstairs. 

It felt like a lifetime since she was last here when, in fact, she was merely here a few days ago, lying down in a pool of blood and crying out for help to no avail. No one could hear her and she was all alone. 

Now that he had returned from overseas, he was begging to start over with her.

Every servant in the manor didn’t date make a peep. They were guilty, but Zoe didn’t blame them for anything. She shuffled to their bedroom on the floor and saw two private nurses looking after Yanni. They stood up immediately when they saw her coming in.
