Chapter 346 

Mason looked at them quietly. He recalled in a daze that their first time wasn’t exactly wonderful. It was an exhilarating experience for him, though. He’d even say that it made such a deep impression on him that he was willing to marry her because of it. 

Then, he cast a glance at her and found that she, too, was staring at the couple. She probably was thinking about the past as well because he could see tears in her eyes. 

He tried to comfort her by holding her shoulder. 

The receptionist was quite shocked when he went to the concierge to 

check out. 

That was quick! 

According to the records on the computer, it merely took him half an hour from start to finish. Factor in the fact that they needed to straighten up and cuddle a little after the deed was done, it made her wonder. Oh. There was also the walk from their room to the 

concierge. 

Presenting the receipt to him, she said respectfully, “Safe travels, Mr Mason!” 

He could just guess what was on the receptionist’s mind. So, he sho her another glance. His black eyes looked especially captivating when he was angry. Even the receptionist didn’t dare to look at them. 

She patted her chest in relief after they had left. “Oh, dear. My heart!” 

Even Luke thought it’d take his master longer than half an hour. He was sipping a cup of tea and leaned back on the seat to catch some sleep in the parking lot. 

Then, Mason tapped on the car window and gave him a shock. He rose abruptly and whipped his head around to see his master staring 

at him. 

He got out of the car and Mason reached out. “Give me the car keys. 

I’ll drive.” 

So, he quickly gave it to him before taking his cup of tea and going away to hail a cab home. He nodded at her and greeted her respectfully, “Ms. Zoe!” 

It was late in the night, so she didn’t bother greeting him back. She was tired and wanted to sit in the back, but Mason opened the passenger door for her and said, “Get in the car.” 

She was out of options, she had to sit next to him. 

He didn’t say anything on the way, so she had no idea what was on 

his mind. 

However, he suddenly held her after he parked the car. He had just started cutting off cigarettes, so there was still a faint tobacco smell about him. 

As before, he didn’t say anything. He merely closed his lips on hers and started kissing her. They kissed each other in various ways, but both of them kept quiet the whole time. Zoe was much bolder thar before. She was taking off his shirt and unbuttoning his belt. His abs felt warm and his skin was taut. 

He rarely went to the gym, but he had always had a solid figure. His toned muscles paired with his wide frame created a perfect figure. 

Holding her hands in his, he stared at her intensely. 

“That’s enough,” he said with a husky voice. 

It looked like he was calling it quits again… 

Zoe released her grip, sat back in the passenger seat, and 

straightened her dress. Both of them knew that they almost had sex with each other, but they had yet to say anything about missing and loving each other. 

They were merely trying to have sex for the sake of having a baby. However, they couldn’t deny that both of them just couldn’t move on from each other either. 

There was a seductive air lingering in the car. 

Once she was done, she said lightly, “I should head back up!” 

Initially, he wanted to go with her and hang out with Yanni a little, but he took a look at her and decided she needed some time alone. So, he said, “I’ll pick her up in a couple of days. Let’s spend the summer solstice together, Zoe.” 

She knew what he was hoping to do on that day, but she didn’t turn down his offer. Instead, she said softly, “Sure.” Then, she added in a husky voice, “Farewell!” 

Grabbing her hand, he stared at her for a long time before asking her gently, “Do you still hate me?” 

It was obvious that she’d kill the mood if she answered truthfully. However, she didn’t want to lie to him or herself. 

So, she murmured, “Yeah,” and left in a hurry. 

She closed the car door lightly. 

He could still smell the faint scent of her perfume inside as well as the odor of her love juice when they lost themselves in the throes of passion for a second earlier. 

The truth was, he was still sporting a boner over what happened a second ago. He was still a virile man with unresolved lusts. It actually 

hurt when he hugged her. 

He wanted to lose himself in the bodily pleasure with her so bad. 

However, he couldn’t bring himself to do it. He’d see some images in his mind whenever he was about to make her his woman. 

Those were the images of when she exchanged glances with Farley and smiled when they were both on the balcony. The look of surprise on her face when she received the gift from him was seared in Mason’s mind.
