Chapter 361 

She couldn’t help but sob. 

Walking over to her, he grabbed both of her shoulders and called out to her gently, “Zoe!” 

She didn’t want him to see her when she was this vulnerable. So, she turned her face to the side, but he pulled her into his arms. 

Not long after, his shirt was damp from Zoe’s tears. 

They had been separated for a long time and she had finally fallen apart. She finally cried her eyes out into his chest. He was someone she had both loved and hated. She was showing all of her 

vulnerability before him! 

He hugged her tightly, giving her the support she needed. At that moment, he’d even give his life to her if that was what she asked of him. 

He called out to her, “Don’t cry, Zoe. You’re breaking my heart.” 

Yanni was playing with a ball. She ran in and bumped into them hugging each other. 

Zoe realized it and immediately pushed him away hastily. Turning around, she straightened up herself and said in a husky voice, “I’m sorry! I lost my composure for a second there!” 

He was aware that she was trying to preserve her honor. So, he picked Yanni up and said gently, “I’m going to play with her for a little while! Pack your stuff up and move to Kirk Manor in the afternoon, okay?” 

She nodded slightly in response. 

Saddened by her sudden outburst, he wanted to talk about it with her, but he couldn’t because Yanni was around. 

Evening rolled on and the sky was lit with a rich orange glow. 

A black limousine pulled into Kirk Manor. Moments later, it parked in front of the manor. Zoe got out of the car and was immediately 

welcomed by a white puppy. 

It was Sherry. 

The puppy was running around Yanni in circles. The little girl was overjoyed to see it. She threw herself onto Mason’s leg and started acting cute, “I want this puppy, Dad!” 

Bending over, he carried it and put it in her arms. Smiling faintly, he said, “Its name is Sherry!” 

Yanni took it and petted it carefully. 

Leaning over, he spoke to Zoe, “I’ve confirmed with the doctor and she said Yanni can keep a dog as a pet, even with her condition. Don’t worry about it.” 

Mason had studied medicine in university. So, she knew he was going to handle this particular aspect well. She quietly stared at her daughter, who was playing with the puppy underneath the sunset. Yanni was rarely this happy. 

He couldn’t resist holding her shoulders. Her body stiffened in response. 

As a lady, she had a keen sense of how he felt about her. However, she decided to tell him off after some thought. “We’re only staying together for Yanni’s sake, Mason. It doesn’t mean that we’re going to

Although he tried to pretend as if he didn’t care about it, he could feel a pang of disappointment at what she tried to convey. 

Yanni was so tired from playing with Sherry that she dozed off easily that night. The puppy was lying next to her. It was such a 

heartwarming sight. 

Zoe stared at both of them for a long time before hopping into the shower. After taking a shower and putting on her pajamas, she came out of the bathroom and found Mason in the room. He was still wearing a shirt and long pants. It looked like he was just done with his work. 

The light was dim and yellowish. He sat by the bed and ran his hands across Yanni’s cheeks, looking at his little girl affectionately. 

Walking over, she said softly, “Go ahead and take a bath. I’ll keep an eye over her.” 

It was nothing more than something people say all the time, but it was enough to make his eyes turn red. He was reminded of the time when they were still a married couple. The fact was, she had always been very considerate of him in the past. 

All of a sudden, he grabbed her hand and asked softly, “Is there a high chance you’ll get pregnant if we do it tonight?”
