Chapter 371
Zoe was lost in thought. So, she was startled when he held her shoulders.
Leaning over, he turned on the night light and said softly, “It’s just me! Are you alright?”
Under the warm glow of the night light, Zoe remained quiet and stared at him instead. The words were caught in her throat.
It wasn’t every day that she showed such a tender expression
towards him. He simply couldn’t resist hugging her and kissing her by the makeup table.
She didn’t want it, but the light from the night light was so bright that she was worried Yanni might’ve woken up if she protested. So, she had no choice but to go along with it.
He could sense that she wasn’t completely into it. He stopped and pressed his lip against hers. Panting lightly, he asked, “What’s the matter?”
Leaning her back on the makeup table, her pajamas were pulled open. She looked slightly seductive like that, but she didn’t have room in her mind to care about it. Looking at him, she said softly, “I ran into a guy today. He could be your father!”
At the next second, Mason’s face froze.
He fixed his gaze on her, seemingly unsure he had heard her right. So, she repeated herself, “It’s probably Westley!”
After a moment, he returned to normal and even asked her
affectionately, “I’m going downstairs to get something to eat. Care to join me?”
She didn’t answer him. Instead, she straightened up her pajamas and raised her head again, but he was already gone.
The winds howled and the rain poured outside. Raindrops gathered on the plants in the garden, glinting underneath the dim fluorescent light, looking lonely in the night.
Mason stood quietly in the kitchen. He didn’t switch on the light.
Instead, he lit a cigarette and smoked it, trying to process what Zoe told him. Westley had returned. He couldn’t believe that his father was finally back!
What was the man trying to achieve, after abandoning his family for such a long time?
A bitter smile crept up his face at the thought of his estranged father.
However, he stopped thinking about him after he was done smoking. He had Yanni to look after now. That was more important than anything and he wasn’t going to waste more time on someone he considered insignificant.
Although he had lost his appetite, he still made two plates of spaghetti before going upstairs and finished them with Zoe.
Both of them hopped in the shower. After that, they turned off the light and lay on either side of Yanni.
It was pitch black in the room and the storm continued to rage on outside.
Just as Zoe was about to fall asleep, Mason’s voice suddenly echoed in the room. “I don’t have a father! He’s not my father!”
The next thing she knew, he held her hands tightly and caressed her body with his warm palms. He knew just what to do to turn her on in no time.
The fact was that she wasn’t in her fertile window, but she had no intention of turning him down tonight. Tonight’s storm brought both of them back to certain periods of their past that were fairly pleasant.
Rolling over, he got on top of her and pulled open her pajamas. Then, he stared at her intently and slipped his manhood into her tenderly and longingly.
They slept together multiple times ever since they reunited, but they were merely going through the motions! They did it every time for Yanni’s sake. That meant he was under pressure when he did it and she didn’t feel any pleasure from the sex as well.
Tonight, however, they wanted to lose themselves in the bodily pleasure they were going to provide for each other.
Leaning in her ear, Mason talked both dirty and sweet. She quite liked
it too and responded by thrusting her hips upward, matching his
rhythm. Moments later, he felt that it was underwhelming and decided to take her to the bathroom.
Both of them let themselves go and drowned in the tantalizing pleasures.
After that, both of them looked at each other longingly. Holding the back of her neck gently, he closed his lips on hers and kissed her so passionately that it felt as if he was about to eat her up.
