She came over, bent down and pushed Mason’s wheelchair as if it happened every day. She was also talking to Mason in a friendly way,” Aren’t you supposed to meet up with an important client, Mr. Mason? What are you doing back home?” 

Looking at Yanni, she said, “Who may this be…?” 

Yanni proceeded to stare at the beautiful doctor. She spent a long time staring at her taut, ample breasts. 

Now, kids weren’t known for keeping things inside them. So, it was only normal that the little girl called out to Mason loudly, “Dad!” before insisting on pushing him as well. 

Sherry hopped off the steps and went circles around Yanni, yapping happily. Its tail was curled all up the whole time. 

It wasn’t hard for Mason to guess what his little girl was doing. Smiling, he carried Sherry up and gave it to her, “Go ahead and play with Sherry!” 

Taking the dog, she wrapped her arms around her father’s neck before saying to the doctor, “Please wheel me along too.” 

Scarlett, the beautiful doctor, was stunned. 

As a matter of fact, she was fine with wheeling her along. However, she had a hunch that the little girl was going to be tricky to deal with. She might be young, but she was cunning. 

Flashing a smile, Scarlett said, “You have to behave yourself! You might hurt Mr. Mason if you sit in his lap.” 

Not willing to let his little girl feel bad, he decided he’d reprimand Scarlett. Before he could do it, Yanni got off of him because she 

didn’t want to hurt her dad. 

Carrying Sherry in her arms, she said, “I’ll walk with you and keep you company, Dad! If I grow tired, Jamie can keep you company. That 

way, we could be with you twenty-four seven.” 

Both Mason and Scarlett remained quiet. 

Instead of going up to the second floor, Mason went to the living room and sat on the couch with Scarlett’s help. He looked like his old self when he was sitting and none would be the wiser. He still looked as dashing and mature as ever. 

Getting him his medicines and a glass of water, she turned around and unexpectedly saw his side profile. She stared at him quietly for several seconds before regaining her composure. 

Then, she went over all enthusiastically and affectionately. Putting down the medicines and the glass of water, she started massaging his legs and spoke to him gently, “Does this feel good, Mr. Mason? Did you feel any discomfort when you were outside today?” 

The fact was, he wasn’t in the mood for a massage, but he heard the sound of cars pulling into the manor. It was probably Zoe and Jamie So, he lowered his gaze and said casually, “Everything’s good, all things considered!” 

Grinning, she encouraged him. “Just keep doing the physiotherap exercises and you’ll recover in no time.” 

Scarlett really was a doctor from the rehabilitation department at Lockwood Hospital. Three months ago, the hospital was searching for a doctor to be Mason’s private caretaker. They were looking for someone who was an expert in rehabilitation. On top of that, it had to be an extremely pretty doctor. 

Needless to say, the criteria alone were enough to give a lot of people the wrong idea, but that didn’t mean no one tried out for the position. 

Scarlett was the cream of the crop among more than a hundred candidates. 

At first, she thought she needed to take care of his sexual desires. However, Mason hadn’t shown much interest in her over the past three months. In fact, he was a perfect gentleman to her. 

Of course, she felt relieved about it, but it’d be a lie if she said she wasn’t a little let down either. 

Wasn’t Mason looking for a sexual partner? 

She fell into a trance, thinking about it. At the next moment, she heard footsteps from the door. 

Yanni ran over with the dog in her hands and called out to Zoe, Mommy!” Then, she held her mom’s legs and looked at Scarlett. 

Zoe followed her daughter’s glance. 

Scarlett was crouching next to Mason, massaging his legs. Her rounded breasts were subtly rubbing his long pants. It must’ve seemed more tantalizing from his point of view. 

Was this a part of Mason’s plan? 

Was he trying to use the exquisite doctor to chase her away? 

If it was the old her, she would’ve worried about it very much. However, she could expertly mask her feelings now. She knew him well and she knew what had to be done to win him back. 

His Achilles heel was that he loved her as well as their kids. 

She tried to comfort Yanni by brushing her hands across the little girl’s hair. Then, she said, “Take Jamie away and feed him some fruits. He’s feeling a little hungry.” 

So, Yanni took Jamie’s hands in hers and headed straight to the 

kitchen.
