worrying about these trivial matters, why don’t we think about what to eat tonight? How
about going to the Western restaurant that Camila recommended?”
He hesitated to respond directly.
Sherry noticed that he was changing the subject.
She smiled, but her smile quickly faded as she turned her head to look out the window.
“I’m fine with anything, really.”
Her infatuation with Mr. Sniper’s tenderness and compassion caused her to lose her
senses, making her believe that she was important to him.
Sherry forced a bitter smile, realizing how foolish she had been to overestimate herself.
The lesson from the Fords wasn’t enough for her, she was still daydreaming.

Sherry misunderstood and felt embarrassed. “Can you get close to him?”
“No, I mean, get close to him and work with him,” Camila clarified. “Where did your mind.

Sherry blushed and nervously chuckled.
What had happened to her lately? Her thoughts had become impure due to Mr. Sniper’s

Sherry declined, stating, “It’s fried and unhealthy; you should eat less, too.”
“Oh right, Sherry, remember when Mr. Sniper sent you his license plate number last
night to pick you up at the car exhibition entrance? Let’s check the owner of that car,
and we’ll know who he is!” Camila slapped her forehead.
